Our mission is to delight and challenge our community by providing live orchestral performances and opportunities for learning about music. As you may know, tickets sales only cover 27% of our annual expenses. We wouldn't be where we are today without your generosity and hope you will consider investing in great music, engaging music education opportunities, and the vitality of Walla Walla with a gift to the Symphony.
There are many ways to support your Walla Walla Symphony:
Single Gift
Make an annual donation with cash, check, or credit card in one payment. You can mail in your donation or use our convenient online donation form.
Recurring Gift
Make payments with a credit card on a monthly or quarterly basis. Your card is charged the same amount each month/quarter until you tell us to stop. Click here to start your recurring gift today!
Your Gift Through Your IRA
You can make a tax-free distribution from your traditional or Roth IRA to the Walla Walla Symphony without incurring federal income tax on the withdrawal.
If you have reached the age of 70 1/2 and must take the required minimum distribution (RMD) from your traditional or Roth IRA, you can replace some or all of it with a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) to the Walla Walla Symphony. QCDs are not included in your adjusted gross income for the calendar year and allow up to $100,000 per taxpayer per year to be exempt from federal income taxes. Depending on your financial situation, a QCD could be right for you. Contact you IRA trustee or custodian to make arrangements today!
Planned Giving
Join our Heritage Society, a special group that honors and recognizes donors who have included the Walla Walla Symphony in their legacy plans. There is no minimum amount to be a member, as all gifts are welcome and important to us.
Lending Library Instrument Donations
Do you have any unused musical instruments in good, working condition? Donate them to the Symphony! Donors receive a tax receipt for the fair market value and the assurance that it will go to a worthy musician-in-training in our community.
Donate a Car
If you have an old car you would like to get rid of, you can donate it to the Symphony! Click here for full details.
Gifts of Time/Talent
Share your time and talents with the Walla Walla Symphony by becoming a volunteer. Opportunities can be found in a whole host of activities, such as ushering at concerts, hanging up posters and distributing marketing materials, and helping with mailings and other general office work.
